These terms cover your use of the MyQualia app and The Inner Experience, both run by The Giant's Shoulder. By installing the app or using the course you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

It is beta software

MyQualia is an early beta. It may change, break, be unavailable, or lose data without notice. We offer it as-is, with no warranty that it will work for any particular purpose.

It is not medical care

MyQualia is a tool for noticing and describing your own experience. It is not therapy, diagnosis, or a medical device, and Russ is not a clinician. If you are struggling with your mental health, please talk to a doctor.

Who can use it

MyQualia is for adults. Please do not use it if you are under 18. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in email secure and for what you submit through the app.

Your entries

You keep ownership of what you write. By submitting entries you allow us to process them to run the app and, once anonymised, to improve Russ and train AI models on how people describe their inner experience, as set out in our Privacy Policy. Please do not submit anything unlawful, or anyone else's personal information.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time by deleting your account from the app's settings. We may suspend or end access if the service is misused or if we stop running it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, The Giant's Shoulder is not liable for any loss arising from your use of beta software, including lost data or interruptions in service.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will update the date above. Continuing to use MyQualia means you accept the current terms.
